An opportunity to gather in peace and solidarity in these uncertain times, in acknowledgement of the political turmoil in the United States and the world.
Tuesdays, 12:00pm EST, held on Zoom
We will take a few minutes to gather, begin our meditation by 12:05pm, spend 15 minutes in mindfulness and end around 12:20pm.

This gathering is peer-guided mindfulness meditation, not group therapy, and no client-therapist relationship is implied. If you feel you are in need of mental health support, please see my resources page. If you need immediate assistance, please dial 988.
Facilitator note: I welcome diversity and stand against oppression and social injustice, while working to respect and understand the beliefs and values of all people. I am anti-racism, anti-sexism, and LGBTQIA+ affirmative and allied and welcome people from diverse racial, ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds. These are the values that will be inherent to the group.
Joining the group indicates we wholeheartedly agree to the following:
We agree that each and every person thrives in compassion. We agree to help create a safe space for everyone in need of support and connection during these times of uncertainty. All participants agree to offer respect to each individual who joins us.
We agree to allow access to our cameras at the beginning of the group, to support connection and safety. We will also be invited to turn our camera on briefly at the end of the group. We may keep our camera off or keep it on during meditation.
Joining the group is voluntary, and we may leave at any time.
We understand that no recording of the group is allowed.
We will honor the safety of the group by keeping the identities of the group members private. We will not attempt to identify, contact or message individual participants at any time. If at some point meeting in another environment outside of this space seems appropriate, the facilitator will arrange for that in a manner that allows for full consent.
This is a safe space. We understand any behavior determined to be inappropriate or disruptive will result in immediate removal.
We understand that we are invited to offer ideas and feedback to the facilitator to support individual and group wellbeing.

Register below to join and I will share the secure Zoom link. If you intend to use a different name for the group, let me know, so I can recognize you.
After you click the link to join, you will enter the waiting room. Everyone will be admitted from the waiting room to the meeting around 12pm, and the meditation will start at 12:05pm. Feel free to join the waiting room early. People will not be admitted after 12:05pm, to minimize disruption.
Please let me know in the message field why you would like to be included (so that I know you are a real person and that this offering is a good fit). You may also include any thoughts, questions or individual concerns you would like support for during this meditation. Nothing you share will be communicated to the group in a way that would identify you.
You are welcome to share info about the group with others so they can register. Please do not share the link, non-registered people will not be admitted.
